Educational and Social Support Program

150 boys, girls and youth between the ages 6 and 18 years participate in this after-school program, depending on their school schedule, Monday through Friday from 8am to 4pm.

Stone and Wood carve the will; the imagination grows with the work.

In this workshop children learn to see and observe better, they relate to nature’s forms, colors and flavors. Children learn about the workshop’s discipline and are trained for community work.

Weaving Workshop

Children enjoy weaving; they are not ashamed, but very proud.

Weaving is an activity that brings children back to their memories and every-day images that live within them. The possibility of recreating them permits the reestablishment of confidence, the development of the will through the exchange of stories, all nurtured by the accompanying literary texts.

Theater arts provide a space to boys, girls and youth for the exploration and understanding of themselves and their surroundings, for liberating, focusing and orienting their energy toward creativity and imagination by way of different theatrical tools.

This workshop strengthens the children’s individuality. By listening to each other, children learn to recognize each other. Music also allows one to recognize oneself starting by giving the opportunity to express one’s own voice.

This workshop facilitates the development of self-esteem, of feeling and knowing they are intelligent and adept in relating to others as equals.
